Spicy Rice

Super Easy And Flavorful!

Cook 2 cups of rice (I used basmati brown) in a rice steamer (with 4 cups water).

While the rice is cooking mix in a small bowl:
1/4 c tamari (wheat free soy sauce)
1/3 c water
3-4 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon organic garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1-2 finely chopped hot pepper (I used a red chile)
Make any adjustments to your tastes. This will taste very strong because it is enough to flavor a big pot of rice and veggies


When the rice is done add 3 cups of your favorite veggies. I used Frozen organic mixed veggie & peas.
Mix in tamari sauce.
