Broccoli Pesto - No Oil
Fill your food processor 2/3 full with (thawed) frozen broccoli Add: 1 can chick peas with liquid juice and zest of one lemon 2-3 cloves of garlic microwaved for 10 - 15 seconds to remove skins and take out some of the bitterness Optional: to make creamy, add 1 heaping tablespoon of your favorite nut butter. Tamari sauce to taste I mixed this in some hot rice and chopped red sweet peppers - yum!
