Nutrition & Empowerment

Empowerment

Definition: to make (someone) stronger and more confident; esp. in controlling their life and claiming their rights.

The role that nutrition takes in feeling empowered is quite substantial.
When you take control of your health by eating as naturally as you can, you are empowered. When you eat to promote health (verses eating to promote disease) you know that your odds of developing food borne diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, Alzheimer's, ED and mood disorders are minimal even if you are genetically predisposed.
When you become lean and fit you feel a constant sense of accompishment. You hold your head high, you are more confident and you like the way you look and feel.
You know what is really cool is that when you don't have extra body fat clothes look fantastic on you!
When you are fit and lean at any age, people take notice because you have something that they don't: Empowerment! It's an incredible feeling and it is one major component that keeps healthy, fit and lean people motivated to stay that way.
