Black Bean Burger




In a mixing bowl, mash 1 15 oz can of black beans (drained)
add:
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
and any seasonings that you like.
I added 1 small finely diced jalapeno, garlic powder and fresh ground pepper

Stir and let rest of about 10 minutes.
Preheat your pan
add a little cooking spay if necessary
Fry until both sides are  a little crispy.

Serve as you would any burger
I ate one with organic ketchup
and another with garlic hummus.
My boyfriend ate his on whole grain bread with ketchup, hummus, lettuce and slice tomatoes.
