Hummus - No oil
Hummus are so versatile, you can use them as a dip for fresh veggies, to replace mayo or use them to replace cheese in vegan nachos.
In a food processor add:
2 cans of chick peas with the liquid
1 tablespoon of tahini (I use peanut butter or any nut butter you have available)
the rind of 1 lemon grated
the juice of one lemon
3 cloves of garlic microwaved for 15-20 seconds to mellow the flavor and remove the skins.
Blend until smooth.
Options:
Add a small chopped yellow red or orange sweet pepper
or add a chopped carrot microwave for 1-2 minutes to soften.
Add spices like cumin to change the flavor or cayenne pepper to make it spicy. Be creative!

You should try this with our Tahini. It's amazing stuff in hummus.
